americanism

What the check is

Replace American spellings with British ones, skipping schema and proper nouns.

Why it matters

The platform can correct this automatically so you do not have to.

What happens when it fails

seo-guard reports a fix on the page or site, points at the field that caused it, and links here.

How to fix it

Open the finding in the editor. The field pointer focuses the input. Change the value so the rule no longer matches, then save.

Worked example

Failing: the condition described above is present in the HTML or content JSON.

Passing: the same page after the field is corrected, with the rule silent.
