Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and East Kent SEO Ltd ("we", "us"), company number 16321605, registered office East Kent SEO, Highstreet Road, Faversham, Kent, ME13 9EJ, United Kingdom, which trades as SEO Friendly Websites.

By creating an account or buying a plan you accept these terms. If you accept them on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so. The service is for business use.

SEO Friendly Websites lets you build, import, edit, check and publish websites, and monitor how they perform in search. It includes AI writing and editing, automated SEO checks that must pass before a page can go live, hosting on Cloudflare, domain connection, and reporting from services such as Google Search Console when you connect them. Features may change as we improve the product; we will not remove a core feature you pay for without telling you first.

• You must give accurate details and keep them up to date.
• Keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone else has accessed it.
• You must be at least 18 to use the service.

• Founders plan: £59 per month, or £599 per year, for the first 100 customers. While your subscription stays active without a break, your founders price stays the same. Once the founders seats are filled, new subscriptions are £99 a month.
• Modernise: £399 once, then £59/mo. We import your existing website and rebuild it on our platform.
• Rebuild & optimise: £1,000 once, then £59/mo. We rebuild and optimise your site for you.
• Add-ons: priced as shown on the add-ons page when you order.

Prices are in pounds sterling. Any VAT that applies is shown at checkout. Payments are taken by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period until you cancel. If a payment fails we will try again and let you know; if it still fails we may pause publishing until it is resolved.

We may change standard prices for future billing periods. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email, and you can cancel before the new price applies.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from billing in your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep access until then. We do not refund part-used periods unless the law requires it.

One-off build fees (£399 and £1,000) cover work we start soon after you order. If you cancel before we start, we refund the fee in full. Once work has started, the fee is not refundable, unless we fail to deliver what was agreed.

You own the content you add, including text, photos, logos and business details, and the websites built for you. You give us permission to store, copy, edit, process and publish that content only as needed to provide the service and carry out your instructions.

You are responsible for your content and websites. In particular, you confirm that:

• you own, or have permission to use, everything you upload or ask us to import
• you only import websites you own or are authorised to manage
• your business details, prices, reviews and claims are true and not misleading
• you have reviewed the privacy policy, terms and cookie notice generated for your site and that they fit your business

AI-generated text, layouts and suggestions can contain mistakes. Check everything before you publish. Our SEO checks help make sure the basics are in place, but no one controls how Google or AI search tools rank websites, so we cannot guarantee rankings, traffic or enquiries.

The legal pages we generate for your site are plain-language templates, not legal advice. Ask a qualified adviser if your business has specific legal needs.

You must not use the service to:

• publish anything unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights
• publish fake reviews, false credentials or misleading claims
• send spam, run phishing or scam sites, or distribute malware
• copy websites you do not own or have permission to use
• attempt to get into other accounts, overload the platform, or get around usage limits or security
• resell the service without our written agreement

We may remove content or suspend a site that breaks these rules. Where we can, we will tell you first and explain why.

Published sites are hosted on Cloudflare. Payments are handled by Stripe. Connections such as Google Search Console and Google Business Profile are governed by those providers' own terms. We are not responsible for outages or changes made by third-party services, but we will help you work around them where we can.

Our privacy policy explains how we handle your personal data.

For personal data collected through your websites, such as contact form messages, you are the controller and we are your processor. We will process that data only on your documented instructions and to provide the service; ensure the people who handle it are bound by confidentiality; keep it secure; use only the sub-processors listed in our privacy policy and tell you before adding new ones; help you respond to requests from individuals and meet your security and breach obligations; tell you without undue delay about any breach affecting it; delete or return it when the service ends, unless the law requires us to keep it; and give you the information you reasonably need to show compliance.

We work to keep the platform and your published sites available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may need short maintenance windows, and we will try to give notice of planned work. For help, email [email protected].

We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or that leaves payments unpaid after we have told you. Where we can, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put things right.

When your subscription ends, we may take your hosted sites offline. Before that happens you can ask us at [email protected] for a copy of your site files. Your domain stays yours; you may need to point it somewhere else.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Otherwise, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for any indirect loss. Our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in those 12 months.

We may update these terms. We will show the new date at the top and, for significant changes, email you at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, you can cancel before they start.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If something goes wrong, please contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to put it right.
